Aaaahhhhh, I thought that summarizing the short several decades of my food experience would be easy, but on the contrary, it is not that simple. Let’s try together!

I remember like it was yesterday, the first time when I tried to make something on my own. It was devastating! Luckily, I did not give up at that first try. From that moment to this day- after a lot of practice, experimenting, mishaps, great successes and most importantly always enjoyment, I am ready to share my little secret!

As life followed its path, there was marriage, children, sadness and happiness, and no matter what, there were always fresh, deliciously smelling and tasting pastries around. Along the road, I have learned that one of the hardest things is truly expressing myself through words. Very often words can be difficult, unpleasant, and sometimes better left unsaid. Frequently, we may be uncomfortable and sad, yet unable to tell others what we may be going through. That is why I, little by little, without realizing at first, started expressing my feelings though salty and sweet bites that always, no matter what, resulted in warmth and comfort. I would feel this comfort while making, baking, smelling the breath-taking aroma and of course through the act of giving, the same feeling that those who tried my baked goods would get. So, I began using a secret way of expression- through my pastry.

My family and I have lived in several countries, throughout two different continents. Living through many experiences and experiments. Every time my family and others who had the privilege to try my master-pieces, they tried to convince me to tell my secret to the outside world, I would selfishly reject it trying to keep it within my personal circle. Since my children have all grown up, it is as if my little secret itself became big and wants to present itself to the rest of the world.

For that reason, my pastries, my secret and I are ready for everyone who wants to try something soothing, comforting, mesmerizing and different. We make everything in a homey atmosphere, always fresh reminding of mother’s love and beautiful childhood. Also, let me not forget everything is made just sweet enough allowing a chance for other tastes to shine as well.

My mission is that my pastries will, while melting in your mouth, let you, at least momentarily escape into the world of security, warmth and comfort. Enjoy!
